been listening to a lot of pulp recently, love the chorus, poetic lyrics, general pub-uk-party spirit

It's cool that Pulp were around since like 1983 making music nobody cared about and then around like 1992 decided "It's time to get freaky", what if a Yorkshire boy got down freaky style, London style. Remarkably fun songs, probably my favorite British band of the early-mid 90s? hard to say

An aggregate search for vintage clothes. Pulls from Ebay, Etsy, Real Real, Poshmark, Grailed, possibly others, but i see those the most frequently. All through one search, one website (there's an app as well). The filters work well and you can set alerts. It's amazing.

Some music journalists put together a list of 1001 albums to hear before you die, they've revised it a few times in the decades since it came out. Someone made a website that randomly generates a new album from that list every day (you can google the list to get a little taste). You can set up a group and the people in it all get generated the same album. I have a small group of friends who have become very dedicated to the practice. It's nice to have just a little pressure to finally sit down and listen to some of the all time classics. It's really great when it's a day that's an album you already love. And it's an interesting mental exercise to listen to an album that you really don't like (somehow this doesnt seem to have effected my spotify algo too much) Whenever we're together we end up discussing the most recent ones. It's been a nice addition to my life individually, and i was pleasantly surprised to see how often we end up talking about them when we're together.

Ended up in London a few times in recent years!
The Photographer's Gallery almost always has something worth checking out if you like photography.
There's new Albert Oehlen paintings up at Gagosian if you like abstract art.
"The Time is Always now: Artists Reframe the Black Figure" at the National Portrait Gallery sounds amazing and features some of my favorites: Kerry James Marshall, Toyin Ojih Odutola, Jennifer Packer, Njideka Akunyili Crosby.
St. John has become a favorite of late, but only for meat eaters! Very weird meat forward (last time had a delicious smoked eel) the staff is lovely, it's elevated, but still casual.
Bar Termini is a cute little cocktail bar I stumbled upon last time.
