All the women on my mom’s side of the family wear the same 10 bronze bracelets from the Philippines and I am no different. They jingle tog w every movement I make. They remind me of an Erykah Badu interview frommmmm I wanna say Architectural Digest where she explained that she wears sm jewelry bc when she simply moves she makes music and I think abt that during every chime of my bracelets :,)

I used to wear the same earrings and one particular ring everyday (never took them off actually, even when sleeping). But now I have collected too many funky earrings/rings and I feel that I cannot commit to only a few pieces😵💫
I do have some ”comfort earrings“, tho. which are not necessarily my favorite, but they’re the easiest to match to any outfit and not too uncomfortable🌱

Around a year ago, I developed a craving for jingling and jangling as I move, so I started passively looking for the type of jewelry that would do this. From there, I set my sights on the necklaces and bracelets made of coins. I find coin jewelry charming and a bit cheesy, the cruise ship equivalent of spoons bent and soldered into rings. I recently picked one up from a very old man selling antiques on Portobello road and have worn it since. It feels a bit bohemian, even the coins around my neck are not (being old American or British currency, I have not looked hard enough to be sure). Because it fits tight around the neck, the coins neither jingle nor jangle when I move, but there is a phantom clanging that does the job.

Yes ik the emoji is a bunch of beans but dates are such a sleeper pick for fruits. So sweet and chewy and a perfect addition to oatmeal or on their own as lil treats to round out the day !!
