almost didn’t watch it because let’s be real, JT‘s time has come and gone and back in the worst possible way possible but wow the tennessee kids are AMAZING
i have a soft spot for memphis music scene, also a soft spot for Justin that i don’t want to admit. the renditions of some of the classics for this tiny desk are amazing, even the album track feels fresh as well

No girl I get you, this one is SO GOOD. He’s been a performer for so long, he knows how to do it well. The space being filled with the Tennessee Kids makes the energy so fun and palpable.

started truly believing in it a few years ago when i first moved to nashville. there are a lot of things i don’t like about my life, down to daily tasks like having to wait for a bus despite being an impatient person, up to not being proud of my own family dynamic, but i'm learning to make peace with it—this is the one life i’m gonna have, and some things i just can’t change, whether that’s for now or for a long while
