I love horror media, so much so that I have made a video on the on the philosophy of horror, but Courage the Cowardly Dog will ALWAYS be my favorite. It is unironically the pinnacle of the horror genre. It is visually inventive, the audiosensory experience goes beyond dialogue and music, the villains are disturbing and feel very real, the episode that approach social commentary don't hold back, and even as an adult, I can still think of episodes that terrify me.

I definitely recommend a rewatch/first time watch of The Mask. That is the most heartbreaking episode of any cartoon.

so many scary bits but so many wholesome bits. greek goose god falling in love w muriel. funny interactions between courage and the computer. eustace being a jerk but having so much love for muriel.
mine is the green fish that comes out of the bath and tells courage: "There's no such thing as perfect. You're beautiful as you are, Courage. With all your imperfections, you can do anything."

There is something about seeing someone be unconscious about something that they really love. The sincerity of it, the way they forget to be quiet if its in public, the way they gesture with their hands more. Its great 10/10 would recommend being passionate about your interests!
