with the rise of conservatism (both social and political) that i’ve been seeing, i have been loving how people are just getting way more weird with it as an opposition. i haven’t seen so much bdsm/smut/freak content since 2016 on the deep reaches of tumblr and i’m living for it. everywhere i turn there’s leather and gimps and edits of characters to german industrial music and cutouts of 80s kink magazines. what a time to be alive
