any tips to get into these kinds of games like dark souls too? i am so obsessed with the visuals but despite how much i play stuff im naturallu just shit at video games. my friend put me off because he said i’d find it too hard but like idk. would lurveeee to play them

llq the soulsborne games are harder than the average video game, but all video games are designed to be beaten — the over all difficulty level of soulsborne games is massively overblown. people just like to say it's hard to give themselves an ego boost. anyone can beat them, especially elden ring, which is the easiest and most accessible game in the series.
as far as tips go, don't be afraid to put down the game and come back later, or even reset a save file if you realize you would rather play a different kind of character than the one you selected. if you're starting with elden ring, level vigor (your HP stat) more than you think you should and use all the tools available to you — physick flasks, spirit summons, NPC summons, online co-op, power stancing, etc is all in the game for a reason, it's not cheating or cheap to make use of them, despite what some people online will try and tell you. other than that, you just have to pick up the games and play.
