Volcano - Jungle: tbh anything by jungle has been my fav recently, they deserve a lot more love, my fav song is "I've Been In Love ft. Chanel Tres" off of Volcano
Glow - Alice Phoebe Lou: she just really has such a lovely voice, and there is a song on this album for every mood! my fav song is "Velvet Mood", it is so beautiful and has been on repeat!
KAYTRAMINE - KAYTRAMINE, Amine, KAYTRANADA: this album has such a dancey/groovy vibe and it is one of my favs to listen to when i'm doing chores or anything i don't want to do because it makes it a lot more bearable! fav song is "4EVA ft. Pharrell Williams"
EVERYTHING IS LOVE- The Carters: i love, love, love The Carters ahhhh i wish Beyonce and Jay-Z made more music together under this name because every song they made SLAPS! the flow is just incredible and the production on all of the songs is masterful! my fav song is def "NICE".
BUBBA - KAYTRANADA: by now you can probably figure out that i like KAYTRANADA haha but this album is so good and i love all the features! KAYTRANADA's sound is really dancey and feel-good in general... my fav song off of this album is def "Midsection ft. Pharrell Williams"

Volcano - Jungle: Really liked this! Candle Flame (hello, Erick the Architect!!!) and I’ve been in love were my favorites Glow - Alice Phoebe Lou: I also enjoyed this quite a bit, nice chill and easy listen! Kaytramine - Kaytranada/Amine: LOVED this one!! I’ve known of Kaytranada/some of his songs for a while but never actually listened to a whole project - very disappointed in myself! Everything is Love - The Carters: A personal favorite of mine as well :) Bubba - Kaytranada: Loved this as well! Midsection was my favorite as well on first listen

Erik the Architect does slap, I haven't heard a single project from them that i don't love! yay on alice phoebe lou, here for the chill vibes as well! yes yes yes for Kaytramine, this album is perfect for summer and glad i found someone who loves it as much as i do! ok love to see someone who also loves the carters and yay for Bubba, happy you liked Midsection!

mY WEEK in music #3

last week of high school & also some fun fun music! first time listens: ⋆ *NEW* Joey Bada$$ vs. west coast beef - This was the most buns rap battle ever. there was like 20 tracks dropped within 3 days and there was maybe 4 good ones! the biggest beef was between the artists and picking good beats ⋆ @SENTRIES ~ Gem of the West - Recommended to me by Sentries themselves on this app last week! Overall i really enjoyed this album and jammed out pretty freaking hard to it! got a lot of Squid vibes but also just epicness. really liking the tracks code, cowboy's carcass, and red eye removal! ⋆ The Cure ~ Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me - I don't listen to the cure too much but when i do it's always so fire! honestly such a good album and by favorite of theirs (from my limited listening) ⋆ *NEW* Jane Remover ~ Supernova - I didn't even know there was gonna be a new Jane track today but here it is and its freaking fire. hopefully this means Revengeseekerz deluxe or something.....? ⋆ *NEW* Boldy James ~ Magnolia Leflore - was really excited for this project because the single was so fire, but it was mostly just pretty good. nothing stood out much excpet for the single but at least the songs are mostly enjoyable (unlike the past like 8 boldy projects)! thinking a solid like 6 or 7 what's been in rotation: ‣ Spotify DJ - he's so goated, like YES i would love for you to pick what i listen to so i have to give 0 thought to it!!! ‣ JPEGMAFIA ~ hazard duty pay! - one of my favorite songs of all time! ‣ Jane Remover ~ Revengeseekerz - still AOTY for me and i relisten pretty much every few days ‣ Frank Ocean ~ Ivy - feels very relevant with it being my final week of high school! ‣ 100 gecs ~ where's my head at - banger! banger! banger! banger! ‣ Vince Staples ~ Dark Times - one of my favorite albums from last year, gotten back into it this week and it's still soooo good ‣ Kendrick Lamar ~ euphoria - after this week's disaster of a rap beef i had to remind myself of an actually good diss track ‣ Boldy James ~ Nancy Botwin - the single from his new album/EP, was loving it all week and it's definitely the best off the project

1. occasionally, a person must take it upon themselves to assert their dominance against others in public
2. every once in a while it is necessary to exemplify superiority against people who lack the skills you possess
