1) reading and watching movies. I feel like I say this a lot On Here but it is so nice to literally remove your own thoughts from your brain for a while by consuming (being consumed by?) a story. 2) friends. Remind yourself that there is love in the world and in your life. 3) start a project. Give yourself something to do and be excited about. 4) go for a walk and looking to see what small and interesting things you might see. treat it like you’re on a scavenger hunt but you dont know what you’re looking for. 5) eat fresh vegetables and fruits you are excited about perhaps from the farmers market and more generally feed yourself things that make you feel joy 6) get concert tickets or something similar for at least a month in the future give yourself something to look forward to 7) pop music and dancing to it 8) hang out with an animal 9) volunteer for a cause you specifically care about and find a volunteer role that you feel well suited for — when the world is scary and sad the best way to make yourself feel more in control and less hopeless is to actively work to make something better. there is no progress without hope! and even better, you might have fun and meet cool people while you do it.

Time outside. Reading. Making my own clothes/upcycling old clothes into new clothes. Writing. Cooking or baking, especially for friends/family/etc. Gardening. Painting your nails if you’re into that. Art, drawing, painting, scrapbooking. Going on walks or just outside to take pictures of nature.
Fill your time!! Enriching/fulfilling activities and sunshine are the cure to doomscrolling.
I have no apps for socials other than this, had to download ig for work the other day, found myself scrolling when I was done just out of habit, and I immediately deleted the app and started doing something more productive instead.

When i say everything can be different i mean it ! changing your bed‘s position can give you a sense of difference in your day to day life. So let’s go slowly and expand that with little resources : Home : -Changing your room from bed position to where the desk is - maybe even change the whole room with the other siblings/parents. -As an outfit repeater i always try to put a piece with a different one just to be able to create a new out. -Art is your friend, try to sketch, colorbooks, craft, crochet, etc… - Journaling with prompts, use tiktok and youtube to get prompts and start writing as much as you like - discover the internet, start searching new niche websites as a hobby, searching by itself is a hobby, use reddit to discover to world. - try new recipes with the ingredients you already have in the kitchen. - pinterest mood boards - reading books - get into movies, analyse the movie, rhe colorgrade, the technique etc.. - discover new music
Outside :
- try new roads - discover your city parks - register in a library - walk by the beach even if it’s cold - collect plants (either by taking pictures for a digital board or a physical one in your journal book) - watch the sunset with music on - try new drinks in your local coffeeshop - window shopping (you dont have money so what ? Just look at the items even try them, you like it ? Thats a motivation point to be able to save up for it for the next sale season etc..) - if you work or use your laptop to study, use the internet to make it more fun ( ex : search how you can navigate your mail box without using your mouse - search how you can write a whole email without touching the mouse - make your tables colorful - try a new style of writing - etc …) - after work/school, dont go straight home, walk a bit, discover anything “new” around you. - before school/work, try to wake up earlier, get pretty for yourself, skin care routine, shower a bit longer, make your fav breakfast, walk slow to ur destination.. - ask around if u can do any volunteer work in your city. - join a book club - join a craft club

There’s been multiple reports of AI taking up lots of energy to generate things and we don’t need more energy being wasted to produce a soulless, computer generated piece of AI art (Idk how others feel about AI art but whenever I look at it I feel sick and my heart sinks because it just feels so empty) so that’s one thing. Another issue is all these horrific deepfake scandals, to an incident that happened to at least 1 girl at the high school I went to (I’m not gonna say their names or anything because they’ve already been through so much shit) to South Korea’s recent crackdown on deepfake p0rn which revealed just how rampant it was throughout the country (and I just know shit like this is happening worldwide it’s not just their country). There’s also social media manipulation, biases in AI (only 100/7,000 of this world’s languages being used in chatbot training which only contributes further to languages being endangered), the very real threat of AI to be used to create more inequality, etc. While it looks like generative AI is flopping in some areas now (thank god) I’m still very concerned about it
