It flips the nineties sandler-adjacent comedy on its head while staying true to the format. I really like the colors in the scenes at the dirty work building.

Crazy story of a deluded fan and the lengths he'll go to take a shortcut to achieve his dreams. Peak Robert De Niro, peak Martin Scorsese. It's like a tightening noose of cringe and the ending is perfect.
I love a good heist movie… if you can call this that.
And I love 70s Pacino (Godfather 1 and 2, … And Justice for All)

I did this with my teacher at the film program I went to and it forced me to get better. I do not recommend it to anyone but there are certain personality types where it’s inevitable. Just remember your mentors love you and your beef is internal.
