If u really can't sleep, just don't force it, you're just gonna get angrier and triggered and irritated. Practice deep breathing and if you want get up and focus on something else to do

Look up box breathing and alternate nostril breathing. Theyโ€™ll give you something to focus on, and meditation will help you work with thoughts running through your brain. If it gets really bad, talk to your doctor and they might be able to prescribe something

I have a friend who says lulls in conversation are a good chance to focus on her breathing. I wonder if it might make the conversation more awkward, but hereโ€™s the deal: there are no rules. Box breathing, belly breathing, 4-7-8โ€“ it all does the trick to regulate your body. Just take some deep breaths when you remember and take care of yourself today! Iโ€™m gonna try to do the same.
