And the thing on top is literally just a deck of cards. i moved across the country with just what I could fit in a Subaru Crosstrek and had a relative hold onto my books which she shipped much much later. they’ve just been sitting in a box in my closet because my pod has no storage + I haven’t really bothered to buy furniture because I hate it here. but I’m escaping soon and new house has built in cabinets with leaded glass doors and I’ll probably finally get more furniture. I swear I read I have a kobo and I also use the books app on my phone lol
isthefruitstillgood you should have seen the clawfoot bathtub restoration and tiling job he did in the bathroom of another property of his i viewed I was floored!!!! 🫶🥹 thank you dear!!!!
partly property-related, but because I'm constantly travelling, there's no real permanence, and I'm always hauling a few books here and there. I'd love to have them all together someday, in one place.
My husband and I are big readers. We have three more bookshelves and a whole closet full of books. Idk how closely you can see, but we have a whole shelf of just tarot decks. I don’t typically buy anymore, I just borrow from the library and keep a log of books I’ve read in case I want to own or gift them.
My dad teases me about how when I was a little kid, my favorite thing to do when I was on the landline phone with somebody—be it a relative or one of my best friends—was to breathlessly describe the things that were in my bedroom so that they could have a mental picture of everything I loved and chose to surround myself with, and where I sat at that moment in time. Perfectly Imperfect reminds me of that so thanks for always listening and for sharing with me too 💌
