Itās informative and relaxing and the hosts are two funny Brits who really love history. I forget about it and then listen to all the new ones and get sad when Iām caught up and forget again.
Also āObscureā which is just Michael Ian Black reading an old usually obscure-for-a -reason depressing book. Itās soothing.
lately i've been obsessed with listening to history podcasts while working, i recently found The Rest is History podcast and it's fantasticāinformative and fun hosts who are both historians. if you have any other recs please lmk :))))
sorry most of these are history podcasts bc thatās mostly what i listen to but thereās a range of topics
last week tonight with john oliver (youtube) - he recaps the last week or a specific topic in a very understandable funny yet educational way

I am like a woodchuck, just chomping through these things. Canāt recommend enough. A real mood lifter for anyone who loves to chew stuff relentlessly, and/or wonder what bark, dirt, and spit mixed together tastes like (great).
