i freaked out and called wildlife rescue but they said it’s a fledgling so its parents are probably nearby and feeding it while it gets strong enough to fly!
yesterday I went to my friends parents place to help him go through the stuff he still had there as his parents are moving, and he showed me a little nest some birds had made in the planter on their porch!!! I got to see them all sit up and open their mouths and wiggle. So lovely
i went camping in wales some years back with friends and we rescued this bird who had a broken wing i think and gave him to the farmer whose land we found him on.
This little guy was chilling (literally) on the pavement of a street freezing to death. I’m assuming he fell out of a nest, but I took him to a safe and warm place. I hope he’s doing well now :(
i made strawberry shortcakes and three kinds of iced teas (ginger peach green tea, lemon black tea, and ginger hibiscus rooibos), and my roommate made bruschetta! then we played Rummy and 9-card Golf for like four hours. i’m so sleepy and content :)
