i love my name

it kind of sounds like a spell or like a distant european tongue or something when you say my full and middle names... i used to get bullied for my name but now I love it

I have come to really appreciate my name. it’s not terribly hard but not super familiar in the u.s. I work in food service. I was sort of recently given a short nickname that stuck. I don’t mind it, first nickname that ppl actually use. Now I offer it to customers if they ask my name. Idk why it feels vulnerable to give ppl my real name. I feel like I’m protecting a part of myself from strangers by offering the nickname. unnecessary but I am growing fond of it. Now my name feels more intimate. To be used by ppl who know me. By ppl I trust.

I LIKE MY NAME

I could probably change my name but I wouldn't really want to? Plus after more than 20 years responding to the same name it would be a struggle to see myself as a different name.
Regardless, I'm a major fan of do what you want. And if you're attached to your name and don't want to change it then who cares whether most people agree or disagree. It's your name. It would be inauthentic for you to do anything else with it.

using A.I. for art instead of using it to fix problems such as poverty, climate change etc is fucking weird
art is a way people cope with human existence and express feelings as well as share and pass down culture why tf is A.I. in the mix its weird to me

shift the weight of the world off your shoulders

it can be overwhelming dealing with the absolute chaos of the world i know that feeling- i usually get so mad i cry but i learned that you can only focus on what you are able to control caring about people and the state of the world shows you have a huge beautiful heart but remember you are only one person and while you cant fix the world you can do your best to be part of it and do what you know is right no matter what
