Weki Meki’s magnum opus. One of my favourite kpop groups is sadly disbanding this month. Their music is the definition of “kpop“.
Weki Meki (Korean: 위키미키; abbreviated as WEME or WKMK) is a South Korean girl group formed by Fantagio in 2017. The group consists of eight members: Suyeon, Elly, Yoojung, Doyeon, Sei, Lua, Rina, and Lucy.[1]
On June 7, 2024, it was announced that Weki Meki would be disbanding after releasing their final single "CoinciDestiny" on June 12.[21]

⭐you know, that one indie band from like 2010-ish that p4k indie types really liked
i haven't even listened to them in over a decade, i just have mad respect for them for putting out two albums over the string of like three years and then just taking to social media to write a short note that they'd finished as a band forever because they felt like they'd accomplished everything they'd set out to. which is something countless other artists will just never realize... well past the point at which they should

🚫A band that expressed emotional distress in a way that didn’t annoy me, they leaned into a noise/ punk style of emo (some might also say pop-punk) that sad teenage me loved. Disbanded in 2018 after the singer was accused of sexual assult. I won’t say RIP because no peace for creeps, but sometimes I just wanna scream along to “No Halo” and I can’t bring myself to do it

😃My friends in the indie rock band Chokecherry just dropped their first EP, “Messy Star.” It’s a delightful combination of shoegaze, indie pop, and 90’s rock, reminiscent of bands like Wisp, Slow Crush, Twen, and Mitski.

Milica is a pretty well known and adored Serbian singer. I will always enjoy her music and the traditional instruments/instrumentals strewn throughout her music.
