The past couple of years I’ve offered free bunny hugs (hugs from me, dressed as a bunny) at Pride and nothing has warmed my heart more! Watching someone‘s face light up, having a kid shyly walk up and ask for a hug, it just feels so wonderful every time. Offer free hugs!! Show solidarity and support for your people!! Spread kindness wherever you go!!
I’ve been really needing one this week. Someone got mad at me while I was volunteering today and I got upset, which sucks, but I got two REALLY good hugs out of it so really it was a win. I wish I could go back for a third, honestly.
