scratches the same itch as yearn/yearning… I’ve must’ve used it daily for months… invokes a sort of feeling of sadness at the beauty of it all… the word itself sounds like a sigh… sometimes I like to put on a ballet or an opera late at night and just get wistful with it… watching jeopardy and getting wistful at how complex and broad the world is… this world is no place for a wistful white boy…
