Ever since I discovered the show during an Adult Swim live stream on Christmas Eve, it has been my favorite cartoon of all time, and this episode truly encapsulates everything that makes Venture Bros great. It begins with a recap of a nonexistent plotline, the b-story is increasingly crazier non-sequiturs filled with 70s references, and Joe from Family Guy voices the master of darkness. And the next episode is a banger as well

which is one of the best television shows of all time period. classic Beavis & Butthead but also the reboot episodes are so funny i don’t know why this linked video had me dying laughing (the movies are also incredible not that you asked)… Spongebob also hits different sometimes when you come back to it as an adult and realize how weirdly relatable it is like when Squidward moves to the community of other Yuppie Squidwards and becomes disillusioned living in cultural and species homogeneity

I produce and host a radio show called Electrique Boutique, which plays minimal synth, cold wave, dark wave, post punk, diy/private press electronic music, and anything else that fits the vibe. If you’re in the Seattle area, I’m hosting an 80s dance party at The Black Lodge on June 26th! Masks are required and we will have air filters going. Expect a Paradise Garage/Larry Levan-esque vibe, with disco, house, electro, new wave, leftfield, and other hi-energy gems. This has been literally a multi-year project of mine and I’m so so so so so happy and excited to finally see it come to fruition. Hope to see you there!!!
