Do u think there's any bugs or seeds that (almost?, might,) rely on being stuck on a windscreen for 20km for genetic dispersal...

You might be thinking about this backwards — a large amount of industrial agriculture is already dependent on deliberate honeybee transportation and deployment (google “commercial pollination”). I don’t know the extent to which this reflects the decline in wild insects though (when you watch 1970s road movies with their bug-splattered grills and windshields it’s clear that things have changed a lot in parts of the US)

iconicindex nooo ikwym im going past that.. u kno how there are berries that get eaten by birds so the bird will fly away and poop it out and It'll grow... like what if there are insects doing that rn but w windscreens... bc theres always like a praying mantis or a slug or a spider on my car and I'm always like... "damn i probably turned his whole life upside down..." but maybe it actually turned out good for him bc he spread his seed like super far...

fruitjelly I know less about indigenous NZ flora/fauna but it’s def fun to read about European diets before the deliberate or accidental transmission of various seeds/organisms back from the New World
