most of the time it’s internet archive but i’ll take anything (to a point obviously i actually have some standards for illegal websites) i’ve actually been so successfully recently though so try it won’t work really for newer films which obviously makes sense but if you don’t want to pay like £10 for a film that isn’t really on many streaming services then try this and you might win

Idk how streaming services are in the states but imo mubi has a lot of international movies that I don’t find on other platforms. I also like that they have a podcast and they feature a lot of mini collections like “women directors“ etc. watched a lot of good movies on there :)

drinking water before bed but like, a lot

I think going to sleep is the really fun part of sleeping. The feeling of drifting off is what we're here for right? Drink a bunch of water before bed and not only do you wake up more hydrated but you'll likely get to get up and head to the loo AT LEAST once. Without this break in your sleep, we zoom unawares towards our alarms.
Only recommended for people who actually get up when they need to pee.

It would be cool if they all did this. i know it’s not high art but maybe there could be a directors cut lol. I love it.

ヨーク (York, a Jazz bar in kanazawa)

I really enjoyed the owner’s selection and I liked getting to know her. At first we thought she maybe didn’t want us in there but it’s a good reminder that language barriers are real and just because we think we’re not the ‘annoying’ kind of tourists, that connection isn’t granted. Some Google Translate and fawning over her latest acquisition (Chick Correa v Herbie Hancock) and we all got along!
