go for a walk. let your mind wander. think fluidly and let your mind go where it takes you. take out that phone if you have questions you want to google, but try to solve problems on your own as much as you can. ask yourself what sparks your curiosity, your joy, what feels meaningful. try to find a book or podcast or something about that and use that noggin'
use ur brain think about things u would enjoy dont let a computer tell u how to relax after staring at a computer <\3 learn to fish, grow some peppers, go on some hikes and try to id every plant and bug u can. become connected to whats around u Outside of the corporate world
Our brains were not meant to computer gaze for this many hours a day. We were never wired to know all of the things happening across the globe. Feeling overwhelmed? Go outside. Touch grass. Water. Concrete. Dirt. Something.
Maybe spice it up with a little activity. Take pictures of cool signs you see. Bend down and look at an ant. Find a John Wilson-ass quirk in the dynamic world around you. Your brain and body will like it.
look at a tree. draw something from life. do a puzzle or craft. write a letter by hand. spend a whole day of unstructured time with a friend. let yourself get bored enough to notice whatβs around you.
i love cartoons. also adventure time (duh), futurama, inside job was good, midnight gospel, and the second best hospital in the galaxy. if you want to be a bit bummed out you should probably watch bojack or moral orel (claymation actually)
