current mood is experimental multi-genre tunes with unconventional structure. sotc has been one of the bands i come back to every now and then, and this is the first time ive listened to them again within months. they're this really cool underground artsy jazz/hiphop ensemble and i love their music videos. go listen if you want to feel disoriented. :3

@’s two releases to date are both fantastic, bringing back those freak folk vibes (a la dirty projectors, Joanna newsom, early AnCo) that I’ve been missing. I’ve been jamming this more recent one a lot lately and I love how they expand their LP’s sound with gloopy electronics without sacrificing their natural stank. Excited to see where @ goes next !!

they replaced 2/3s of the members but they’re back with this poppy sound that i love and god damn is james great live. i miss their jazzy emo vibes from the early days that made me fall in love with them, but maybe that’s me just being nostalgic. still a vibe today though

its a subgenre of dance and the first edm genre to originate from the Philippines. this guy DJ love invented it and incorporated local Badjao ethnic sounds. you would hear it in fiestas mostly in the provinces and street parties. ngl i used to hate this genre back in highschool n thought it sounded silly bc i was lameee
