Dying clothes you don’t wear is fun, and if it’s natural fibre you can literally just do it in the washing machine with these pods. I turned some old white Levi’s that I never wore into dark blue jeans and I love them! I’ve also done cotton/polyester blends and the result is still good.

does the dye stick around in the wash? i’d love to do this but i have a communal laundry room and don’t want to dye someone else’s clothes too 😅

weird so you have to do quite a few washes, but it’s completely gone after. You do one wash to clean and wet the item, then one wash with the dye pod in, then one wash with detergent, then take the item out and run an empty wash with detergent. done white washes after and not had any problem! But the amount of washes is a lot if you’re paying per wash!

marianoleonczik me too! Clearly means they’re using a synthetic thread. there’s also a really cool pink gradient stitching in the back that I’m glad stayed! I’m interested to see the fading too, and always great to know if I don’t like it it’s only £9 to grab another pod

Dying your clothes in the washing machine

why haven’t I been doing this already for years?! it’s so easy and (so far) mess free. I’ve revived some faded black clothes and made some old white jeans and t shirts look nicer by dying them an off white, saved an old white robe which looked a bit sad and now it’s super vibrant. I’m obsessed.
