An alternative fantastic way to find new artists is to check out ur local music scene It’s a fantastic rabbit hole Start w checking out ur fav venue/ bar/ clubs ig and have a look at whos playing Ill search them up and throw a song or two on a playlist exclusively for this and will listen to it passively when busy If anything catches my ear the song will graduate to an established playlist

finding music on here has been such a blessing.
i am so grateful for the ppl that share music on this app
everything anyone has shared is beautiful perfect, fantastic, makes me believe in love and the joy of living again.
there’s something about someone personally recommending something juxtaposed to the clinically sterilized algorithmic recommendations of every other music app. music is connection and should always be 110% a fundamentally human experience.

a cool little website that showcases songs on spotify that either have never been played or artists with very very low listeners. will you come across some weird shit that you may not be into? hell yeah, but that's part of the fun. i've personally found so many cool artists and as a small independent musician myself, i know how easy it is to get lost in the void. the underground is calling bby.
