when i watched your name it was in an outdoor cinema and there was a guy in front of me smoking a pipe and about 2/3 through the film he blew out some smoke and then leaned to the girl next to him and whispered, fully sincerely, ”you know, something like this happened to me once” and then went back to his pipe like it was normal

Surface-level friendships
I used to be the person who only considered someone my friend if they were one of my CLOSE friends. I always felt that anything other than that was surface-level and not worth having.
But as I’ve grown up I’ve grown to appreciate the fact that there are many different types of friends and I can enjoy them for what they are. Not every friend I have needs to be the closest friend who I can share my deepest secrets with.
I appreciate the friends that i only see once every few years, low maintenance friendships, uni-friends, friends that i only talk about movies with, friends of friends etc.
Just trying to embrace happiness wherever i can find it.

Compiling a list of your favourite songs throughout the years
Whenever I’m really into a song (or songs), I’ll just jot down the date and the song on my notes app. I’ve done this since 2022 and it’s so cool to see my music phases and how my taste has changed. I'd rec!
