you don't have to be doing productive work on your laptop to go out for coffee on your own. just do whatever you would have done at home out in public in stead to feel more connected to the world.
today my plan is to go to a café and just play tetris while enjoying a nice lemonade in the sun.
it's no shade to working on your laptop at a coffee shop.....but can we all be honest and admit that sometimes it gets too overstimulating? and when i work on my laptop at the library i dont feel pressured to spend $8 on a bad iced coffee!
bring a book to read, or your laptop to tap away at
the ideal cafe has a fireplace
sit near a window and people watch
(it almost feels more appropriate if you’re doing it while sipping a frothy latte)
