watching lost nearly 2 decades after its initial release
my parents favourite tv show, and in watching it i can come to the conclusion that oh. yes. i am your child. grateful that you didn’t board oceanic flight 815 and birth me on a dodge island so that i can watch a show about that happening to other people. when people (like my parents) tell you this is the greatest show of all time THEY ARE NOT LYING ! i am only on season 3 but the levels of mouth wide open out loud saying what the fuck that i have reached ? dare i say more shocking than back to back scream tv series halloween special episode reveal followed by its immediate cancellation. cannot express my lost obsession to you right now i am having way too much fun.

lost (2004-2010)
i'm doing my first rewatch, 10 years after my first viewing in high school. it's hard to understate how much the show cooks through and through. so many moving moments consistently. i say this about a lot of shows, but goddamn if this isn't the best show of all time. it makes me angry that tv looks and feels so cheap these days. my heart soars watching this. i miss when shows constantly spewing about destiny and good and evil had real weight behind them.

Rewatching Lost with my friends and rediscovering how lovely it is. The economical writing, the cast of characters, the way every scene is shot in an interesting way. What a great show.
