yeah there’s still things that need to be fixed, but I painted the front room pink (pictured) entirely by myself and it was horrible but a real labour of love and I love that we live in a colourful beautiful place.
always thought i was a paint color purist but i just signed a lease on a place w a partly marigold kitchen and a half-pink bathroom and i couldn’t be happier
Currently house-hunting and so happy when I find one with brown tiles and yellow shagpile carpet or a coloured-brick entryway with some funky bathtub... some woodpanel wallpaper or stained glass. Fills me with joy to be in a place with some character and history and imagine which parts of it I could preserve if it was mine.
