Cinema is a work of art and Maria's stage presence is divine (maybe i was just fan girling but it literally felt like being in front of an angel). But what I really think made it was the venue- small and intimate. It definitely elevated the experience. Waiting for submarine to come out later this month so i can finally focus...

exploitative? maybe. But i think that's a risk with any portrayal of a vulnerable subject. imo Donny's storytelling was careful yet incisive. I think it centered more-so around his own acquiescence, at times even explicit encouragement, and self-realization. As for Fiona Harvey's interview, the casting and acting was def on point...
