is a great fantasy! or if you want to branch out of fantasy a bit to ease up on the burn out then Mr. Penumbra's 24-hour bookstore is a really fun, light read!

nothing more i hate than fantasy books overcome with elf peen. so you should read the priory of the orange tree (lgbt characters, yes multiple, beautiful world building, delicious descriptions, very low spice but when it’s there it’s actually tasteful and pleasant, dragons also). i also have recommend this one million times and i’ll never stop: between two fires. medieval horror with angels and demons and plague and river monsters. too good

Depending on the vibe you’re after, The Wind in the Willows by Kenneth Grahame is a favorite, so cozy and entertaining, as well as The Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings books - very near and dear to my heart and so fun to read! Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier is one of the craziest, tensest, most atmospheric books I’ve read, ever. And The Master and Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov is an absolute trip, fantastical, satirical, and feverish to the extreme. All very different from the other but each so good in their own way!
