🦄You can really only get away with being naive for so long so you should do it as much as you can while you can. We‘re inheriting a shit world and no I’m not gonna use ai or accept that’s the way it is and I know what I want to do is a shit industry with terrible pay and worse stability like the rest of em these days but I’m gonna do it anyway. Maybe it will work out for me. The world will open for me and I can make the life in my head real even if every signpost outside of me says otherwise. Older people may claim to know better but they’re the ones that ushered in the New World Order and if I listened to them I’d quit before trying! Which I’m not doing anymore!

❇️Used to be a firm believer that chaos could create interesting art and make me a more interesting person. Maybe that’s still true for someone else, but I’ve come to realize the most interesting parts of yourself are already there if you choose to love yourself and Life. That would’ve sounded so trite to a younger me, but I feel it bone deep rn. There’s so much to lose from living outside your natural conviction and peace of mind. Don’t think there’s much to gain from it either.

🕷I have these spiders that live in my house called flatties and I love them. They are so silly and they are always running around. They don't make webs, they hunt their prey like some kind of crab. Did you know tarantulas live 20-25 years? That's incredible. I have many tarantulas that live in my yard and they love chilling outside their hole and night every summer. Before I moved into this house I was so scared of bugs. I had no choice but to face my fears and now I like spiders. Life will change you, won't it?
