great beginner/simple point and shoot!! requires high exposure but does have built-in flash. it basically functions like a disposable and costs pretty cheap, so if ur new to film cameras it’s an easy way to get into shooting on film and developing (if u plan on developing them urself) :-)

you can find vintage ones for cheap since so many were made, my dad gave me his from the 70s. super simple point and shoot 35mm camera, meant to be a starter camera so it’s super easy to use

📸It’ll run you ~$100 but I love this point and shoot, and it doesn’t require batteries! But film is expensive. I’d recommend sticking to Kentmere B&W.
Digital is 100% cheaper but I don’t have good inexpensive suggestions. I go all in on the highend 😅 You could always try to find my first ever camera: the Kodak MC3

I recommend the Minolta XE (linked). I learned on basically this camera. It has full manual control for learning the relationship between aperture, shutter speed, and iso. It has a semi auto mode for connivence and a good light meter. Well made and a good camera system to get into.
Start out shooting on Kentmere 100 and 400. Great stock and very affordable. Once you’re comfortable with composition in BW, start exploring color films.

HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WORKER’S DAY!!!! i love having a union, i love being a union steward and getting to support my unit. when my union won its contract, i got a pay bump, better benefits, and increased protection as a worker. 🥳
unions help address racial and gender pay gaps, issues workplaces impose on families and those having kids, addressing unsafe conditions, plus things like better health insurance, wages and overtime, weingarten rights to representation, and more!!!
