i loved his previous band (Laszlo Horvath & the hidden Strength) and was so bummed to hear they were dissolving
just learned he's been putting out music as Wird Grau and it's lovely

revisiting my fav german guitarist, he played in neu! and overlapped with kraftwerk. his 70s/80s solo records are my fav though. endless layers of instrumental electric guitar, all the tunes seep into each other. they’re equal parts melancholy / epic. he’s a delicate shredder and a major influence on me

This is for my German Mausis: My flatmates and I were listening to Heul doch by LaFee because she announced her first tour since 15 years or smth and a new album, so obviously we did. And my flatmate said Willst du by Dilla has the same energy and vibe like the old LaFee songs and they were totally right!
So everyone who understood what I was talking about is gonna love it, but everybody else should hear it, too. it’s funnnnnn!

I was looking for a rendition of “Over the Waves“ and stumbled across this absolute gem of an album almost a year ago (somehow). I’m an absolute sucker for a waltz, I think they‘re beautiful in a timeless way, much like landscapes! This album has a cool muffle to the recording which makes it feel old, but the quality is super good. My favorite track is sirens! Enjoy from Sam
