A wholesome nerdy guy getting into the forgotten history of New England and taking you to since-forgotten cemeteries to postpone people’s “second death”
but sometimes he just does a silly video which I also appreciate lol
Dime Store Adventure’s newest video is so good, and this line from toward the end summarizes his thesis for his whole channel: “it’s all too important to not let the folklore and legend swallow up the human being at the core of the story” 💛
i'm only halfway thru so take with a grain of salt but this is just the right balance of interesting and sort of mundane since it's mostly people digging, arguing, and looking at books, perfect to put on while you clean the kitchen after dinner
pretty sure i saw someone on here rec a clock radio instead of a phone alarm... now i don't open my eyes and immediately look at my phone and instead enjoy the classical and jazz from the college radio station in the morning. yes this ancient beast has a terrible speaker but the form factor is unrivaled
