my friend and I were once at a place in California with really good pancakes and the guy eating next to us told us that he really loved office lingo (“circle back” “are we aligned”) and then proceeded to only eat half of the pancakes he ordered. He left them on the table and my friend and I stood over his table kind of hunched like crows so we could hide the plate and then ate the remaining pancakes.
anyway yeah discarded food for life. I also take discarded bags of unsold bagels out of the dumpsters sometimes.
