I would look for an appointment with a hair stylist around town. Otherwise, I can recommend SHED barbershop on 1st. Their stylists are super responsive, queer friendly, and it’s easy to book with them.

I am aging out of Shizen and need new salon recs for haircuts specifically and stylists that know how to frame a cut for your face shape πŸ’‡β€β™€οΈ

Saw someone else barber-posting so i thought i would share. I love Mildred, good vibe and its not too pricey for manhattan. All of the dudes there are very chill and do a great job, despite most of them being bald which i will never understand

sometimes we just need a bit of self trust, even if we're wrong. the self-doubt becomes more consuming than any external search for understanding of the self. look inside with kindness to ourselves :)

Authors sometimes have their own dedicated subreddits where people are constantly discussing a text but if your reading a really specific book someone may do a writeup in r/books and if not probably some discussion on goodreads (as annoying as goods reads is , f*** amazon) I like watching certain booktubers Tokyochemist is one of my favorites but theres a lot of booktubers who post frequently about books so just search up book reviews on Youtube. I’m in college so when I’m looking for something more analytical I go to my schools library page and search for any literary analysis stuff (these can get pretty technical sometimes). After watching X-men 97’ I found some really cool work on Rogue and repressed sexuality! I also found some interesting writing on Donnie Darko through here. Hope this helps πŸ™†
