Look I want nothing more than to be shoveling fresh blackberries into my mouth and using the juices as blush but in the month of March and, might I add, this Economy (where even at peak berry season last summer it was still $7 for a half pint of raspberries?!) frozen berries are here for us. Not just for smoothies! Use them in yogurt, oats, jam, muffins, all the usual ways. Donโt be pressured by the need to use โfreshโ fruitโฆ frozen fruit can be just as nutritious (if not more!) because they're actually picked at ripeness and preserved rather than being ripened using ethylene.
