going to see challengers on my own today! and i'm very excited. i'm someone who actually doesn't mind going to the cinema alone. i've done it so many times over the years, and totally do not get people who say it's sad. if i lived somewhere where i could go to late night screenings on my own, i would do it all the time.
sometimes i end up making a friend, sometimes i just get to sit and get sucked in and then i get to leave and choose my favorite place to eat. it's a nice way to spend a day on your own, and i think more people (especially people in their 20s) should take themselves on little dates.

the experience of taking yourself on a solo date to the movies is the ultimate (relatively healthy) escape - you almost begin to exist in your own world. the drive home in silence as you deconstruct your own feelings, and not to mention not having to share the popcorn⭐️

my favourite read in a while. it's a look on her thoughts about everything from life, time, death and lonelines to perfumes. her writing on this one might not be the easiest to understand due to the erratic aspect of it, but i think everyone should read at least one of her books in their life!!!!
