Melodrama is one of my favourite pop albums ever, and the tracking is PERFECT. The album closes on this bittersweet but ultimately highly compassionate and energetic song that synthesizes everything it’s like when you’re coming into your own and discovering who you are in a world that seems very, very vast.
We can be alone and confused together 😎

This is the number one, by Lorde. masterpiece! Another huge recommendation is Beach-Life-in-Death by Car Seat Headrest, it’s like 5 parts. You live and die many times in that song.

I feel like as you get older, friendships require a lot more effort and intention - you have to commit to wanting to be someone’s friend because everyone else is also an adult with so much going on in their lives! so people can seems a bit hostile and unwilling to open themselves up, but I would say the best way to make new friends is being the one to risk it first. You might be surprised as to how many people are willing to also open up once they know they’re not going to be emotionally dismissed!

All the best and worst bits about being a human and loving another human

it starts off as a distraction but honestly the best way is opening yourself up to finding love and fulfillment in other things/relationships (not always romantic!) Spend quality time with your friends and family, try new things like going to a new restaurant or cafe, maybe pick up a new hobby or hobby you previously left behind. As you make room for these new things, the space this person took up in you will naturally get smaller and less noticeable until you’ll realize you rarely think about how much you missed her.
I’m sorry you’re feeling this way but all things truly do pass 💕
