Ugh this one. Immediately the gtr at the beginning and throughout pulls on my heart strings and the piano that arrives halfway through feels wonderful. Devastating lyrics, beautiful yet simple instrumentation, Elliotās voice. What more is there to say. A classic.

I think I've bawled my eyes out to every track at this point for different reasons. not even exaggerating. once you think you're done with it you get hit with a brand new emotion and find new symbolism in the lyrics. and another painful feeling to unfurl and free yourself from. if I could get everyone to listen to an album this would be my pick

Inspired by 80ās production, this song feels bigger than itself. End credits of a movie vibe. Reflective of passing youth. In layered, reverb laden vocals he sings āGrowing up is never easyā¦Wrong enough to say Iām sorry. Owning up to things I canāt undo.ā Itās great for a drive alone thinking on all the things thatāve passed you by and all that has yet to arrive :)
