aka a box of all of the things you would need (stuff like a set or two of dishes, hair dryer, scissors, etc) within the first day or two of moving and unpacking. in addition to labeling boxes; that way, when you arrive you donāt have open all sorts of boxes to get those few different things!

For me, it would be easier to pack a box than a bag, butyouāre going to be schlepping stuff and bags might be easier.
If you want boxes, ask your local convenience stores, and Trader Joeās usually has wine boxes you can take. Also check Craigslist or FB or what have you and see if people are giving away their moving boxes.

Whenever Iāve moved or help someone move, itās usually a joint effort - grab a few trusted friends and buy a few pizzas and a case of beer in exchange for their help. Stock up on moving boxes and packing tape at Uhaul and rent a van if you need to
if you want to get rid of stuff, give some things away to them if they want it!
