🐊I can't think about the dark purple grape flavor of Gatorade without thinking of the time my roommate trekked to target at 10pm just to get some for her boyfriend who was sick at the time.
I have a friend who would treat herself with a yellow gatorade every so often from our dorm's vending machine. Her favorite was the cucumber lime one though, something we disagree with as I can't stand the taste.
I remember kids on the football team drinking out of the Gatorade water bottles, the ones that everyone jokes about being a nipple, making dolphin noises as they tip the cup up.
I remember asking my friend what flavor she wanted and she responded "what do you mean flavors? just grab me the light blue" because ig sometimes it doesn't taste like glacier whatever the fuck or anything it just tastes blue.
In my childhood I would always ask for the red gatorade whenever my mother wanted my electrolytes up. it tastes like comfort and of her murmuring to "not drink so fast i dont want you vomiting red on the carpet it won't come out". I didn't vomit and this whole thing isnt exactly poetry but nonetheless that is a memory that won't come out. all of this knowledge stained alongside the simple association with a sports energy drink.

😃i think everybody hates small talk, but everybody is also very different from each other, I guess it’s a matter of being understanding with the person or people you’re talking to at the moment. But I do think that personal questions and talking about real life experiences is what gets conversations going, it’s also what makes you remember people and want to reconnect with them. when talking to somebody new there’s nothing better to a first impression than someone who engages and listens. We get what we give so might as well give as much as we can.
