grazing your knee

i fell down the other day and i grazed my knee. i kind of like it. it reminds me of all the times i did it as a kid, when my body was built to fight the germs. it would just end up being that ugly scab i showed off in sports class at school. it’d itch and i‘d be told that was a good sign, that it was healing under this layer of chaos. i feel like there is some philosophy you could add to that, but i dunno. i just hope it doesn’t get infected

getting hurt when you're an adult

to think that when i was a kid i was falling over, skinning my knees, getting scratches, and bruises EVERY DAY while running around... falling down was so normal i just got straight back up and didn't even think about it. my 26 year old decrepit ass fell down yesterday and i was in shock for hours after...

my heart hurt a little bit when I read your post — I twisted my ankle in October 2022 and it still isn't fully recovered I've been to the doctor lots and am in physical therapy rehab because of it MY BIG MISTAKE: Running too soon after hurting it. It was not worth it!!! I gave it a week and then went for a run. As much as possible stay off it and rest until no longer hurting.

genuinely dont want to meet any more male identifying men who want to be in entertainment

we get it you watched Tarantino one time and now you feel like filmmaking is the path for you but no you can’t since you have subjected yourself to an acceptable paying job. all jobs pay. i guess its just what you prefer … something all these men carry in common is that they feel that they have hidden something away in them that they will never get to express but i feel that takes away from my desire to express myself in filmmaking i dont think it matters that much but also like why… ive been reading tiny beautiful things realizing that the thing that has bothered me about male perception is that female work is perceived as not universal
