been listening to her Other World EP for the last couple of rainy weeks in LA. 4 songs, 20 minutes, and sets a somber yet poppy tone for a short drive. her latest single from last year is also stellar, really love the simplicity in the production. could easily fit in with late 80’s synthpop/industrial (depeche mode, soft cell). nice change of pace. check it out ⬆️

Fresca - quiet light

Oh man i think Quiet Light is the most exciting up-and-coming indie artist i’ve heard in a while ! Last year my friend Lucian sent me a playlist for my travels in Denmark and some of her songs were on there. Since then I’ve listened to all her albums front to back - Fourth of July and Blue Angel Sparkling Silver are particularly special to me. Her newest single Fresca is maybe one of the best songs I’ve heard this year. Just perfect !
