Closet clean out

It feels so good to get rid of old clothes and donate them and have a totally organized closet. There was so much stuff in my closet that I wasn’t wearing anymore. normalize just having quality pieces that you love and not all those extras

Finally finishing something youve been putting off for a year

after buying a new ikea wardrobe in december, it's been half assembled and surrounded by half a dozen boxes of clothes for most of this year!
now im finally assembling it and it feels fantastic. it's just a stupid wardrobe, but this little event feels so significant. being productive rocks!
i guess this is like a dopamine detox thing..

Cigarettes are Sublime by Richard Klein

This a great book on many levels, it looks at the history of cigarettes in popular culture and society. Klein explores it on a deeper level, looking at the way humans love to dance on the edge of danger and how we process death as well as the association of danger with allure. An interesting mix of absurdism and nihilism. Pretty quick read, 8/10.
