This episode was released so long ago but I still will go back and listen to it every now and then and catch myself thinking of it. This episode goes into the ideas of good and evil, then talks about the story of Fritz Huber. If you love science and ethics and contemplating I highly recommend. 10/10
Runner up:
SPOOKED- The Iron Gate
If you need something to give you goosebumps, spooked is for you! It is so well produced and this particular episode gets me every time.
P.S- can you tell I like public radio???
Different vibe than the pods you listed, but I will always recommend it. This American Life but for paranormal stories. Extremely thought-provoking, terrifying, heartwarming, and human depending on the episode.
this episode is a recent fav of mine!
if you like being scared awake (or asleep..idk do you) a groovy-bass-toned Glynn Washington hosts an eerie podcast that features true-life supernatural stories told firsthand by 'people who can barely believe it happened themselves'
i believe them. call me gullible (i am). the production of this pod makes me think the demon under my bed is suddenly behind my shoulder...patiently waiting for me to turn around

This is the kind of show that I feel like I've always wanted. The storytelling is pretty top-notch and has the feel of those late-night "unexplained" shows that you'd stumble upon as a kid. It genuinely feels like sitting around a campfire, listening to a stranger tell you the most hair-raising story you've ever heard. I recommend starting with Episode 64: The Shed.
