one time i dropped my airpod in a courtyard at night and i had to look around like an idiot in the dark for like 20min trying to follow the faint voice of shania twain coming from it

I got the Koss KPH40 a while ago and I love them. Great sound, super lightweight, and weird 90s vibe for less than $100.

Sennheiser HD 25-1 studio models. The cool thing about these is that every part is replaceable. Once cables short out on wired headphones that's usually it, but I have two pairs of these -- one's five years old and the other is over 15, and they're still going.

Im an avid user of my Somy WH-1000xm3 but it lowk fucks my hair up so when I want to look more presentable I’ll use apple earbuds. The only problems I have with it, that in my opinion it’s a bit quiet. The cable also often breaks near the bottom where I plug it into my phone
The Apple EarPods are both cheaper and have excellent sound quality I also feel cool as fuck wearing them in public. Idk very underrated.
for me, it's classic wired earbuds. mostly because my ears are tiny and IEMs dont fit well usually, but also because earbuds are attached by string, nothing more convenient than that!

robert dropped one side without noticing on a show at Mercury Lounge a couple of years ago, realized it on my way home... went back, found it in the garbage bin of the venue (I was able to hear the notification beep 🤣) It took a lot of heavy cleaning and disinfecting but still works 🙌🏼😅

I was leaving a movie theater after seeing The Northman a couple years ago and some dude dropped his AirPod into a pile of popcorn on the floor and couldn’t find it and everyone laughed at him
