your favourite pair of trousers. your best skirt. that jacket you‘ve been eyeing up for months that you just bought half price from the store that’s normally too expensive to shop at. the shirt that’s the perfect shade, sits just right on your body. and then the shoes… the shoes.
an afterthought. the rest of the outfit is perfect, immaculate, a ten out of ten, so why worry? no one really looks at the shoes anyway so why bother to find the right pair. the ones that match, or clash, but in the best kind of way. the ones in the perfect shade, made out of the exact material to tie in with the rest of the look. charming, or classic, or cute, or fugly, or camp, or trashy, or polarising.
