my friends and I gather semi-regularly to have what we call debrief sessions where we just look through someone elses phone (usually their tik tok reposts and collections) and they're so fun. its such a fun way to learn little things you didn't know about your friends before and just yap abt the things you like

Talking to one of your friends and going over the contents of your day/week/month only for it to evolve into a conversation about social, cultural and familial pressures, habits, relationships, and aspirations is so incredibly underrated. More rewarding than therapy as well imo because you get to listen to someone else‘s mind wander in the same direction as your own.

last night i had another amazing 5 hour phone call with my childhood friends and we laughed and cried about growing up. it feels like we're in middle school again staying up during a sleepover to talk about our crushes and then it takes a hard left turn into dissecting our familial traumas

one of the best concept albums of all time. follows a young woman named Ethel Cain (the character, not the artist) as she encounters various men and eventually meets her violent death at the hands of one of the men. truly visceral and even disturbing at some parts but so so good, really recommend giving it a listen
