He’s talented but… his music is cloying to me, and I don’t believe a word he sings. It’s very sentimental and melodramatic, and for me nothing connects. I almost hate his version of Hallelujah— it has no business being more popular than John Cale’s or Leonard Cohen’s. His dad Tim was probably less original, but I like him better.

jeff buckley’s “i know it’s over”

i love the original but buckley has such a beautiful voice, his cover is so raw and gutwrenching especially knowing his story. so sad but he brings this song a whole new life

I literally cannot put down the cup. Jeff Buckley is such a BEAUTIFUL soul and watching his interviews bring tears to my eyes. He constantly knew what to say and almost exactly how to convey and express exactly how he felt.
